One Year Faculty Development Fellowship:  Valley Family Medicine Residency in Renton, Washington, sponsors a one year faculty development fellowship for graduates of ACGME accredited family medicine residencies. 

Our faculty development fellowship program is geared toward individuals with an interest in a future as family medicine residency faculty.  The goals of this program are to provide additional training and clinical experiences in outpatient and inpatient family medicine, including obstetrics, in conjunction with focused training in teaching residents and medical students.

 Fellows will also participate in the WWAMI Family Medicine Residency Network Fellowship Program(https://depts.washington.edu/fammed/network/faculty-staff/faculty-development/fellowship/) or UW Teaching Scholars Program in the  Department of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education (http://www.meded.washington.edu/tsp-welcome). The fellowship start date is negotiable but should start by September and is 12 months in length.
