Yuri Lee, MD

Yuri Lee
Residency Class of 2011

Originally from the Puget Sound area, I attended the University of Rochester to complete an undergraduate degree in Health and Society, studying political, economical, and social issues surrounding health and medicine.  I stayed to also complete my medical education in Rochester, where I learned to love upstate New York’s arctic winters.  However, I missed the mountains and my family and found myself back in the Pacific Northwest to continue my training at Valley Family Medicine.  Keeping with that, I have stayed in the Puget Sound area where I now practice family medicine with obstetrics in the Puyallup area.

I am a firm believer that health is a human right and being culturally competent is essential as a physician. I have interests in all aspects of family medicine including sports medicine, women’s health, alternative medicines, and international health.  (That’s why Family Medicine is so perfect for me!)  I love music, singing and playing piano and cello; love the outdoors – traveling, hiking and playing tennis.
