Vivian Cheng, PharmD
Clinic Pharmacist
Vivian (she/her) is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. She enjoys working with patients and providers to adjust and optimize medications, especially for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, asthma, and COPD. Her other professional interests include geriatrics, cardiology, population health, and transitions of care.
She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergrad and pharmacy school. She then completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at the Denver VA, followed by a PGY2 residency specializing in ambulatory care at the University of Colorado. At the residency clinic, Vivian sees patients for chronic disease management and education, assists with drug info/pharmacotherapy questions, precepts a pharmacy elective rotation, and precepts pharmacy students and residents.
Outside of work, Vivian enjoys hiking/backpacking, running, playing trivia, attempting yoga, watching UNC beat Duke in college basketball/football/anything, and checking out new places and eateries with her rez dog rescue, Nori.
