Shawn Chen, DO
I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and moved to Eugene, Oregon when I was fourteen. After I graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology, I worked as a research assistant for a year in the Department of Pathology at the University. Thereafter, I moved to Philadelphia to obtain my master’s degree in Medical Sciences. Of course, the adventure did not end there. I then pursued my medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in California. My interests lie in Women’s Health and Pediatrics.
Having completed my three-year residency training with Valley Family Medicine, I decided to stay with Valley, where I currently practice full-spectrum family medicine in one of the primary care clinics.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking, watching movies, and most important, spending time with my family and friends.
