I am a PNW newbie hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah! Growing up as a moody arts-lover with a bit of a contrarian streak, I found my way to medicine only after realizing its fundamental interconnection with the humanities. I completed my undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy (one major!), and a minor in Text and Traditions. From there, I moved to Arlington, VA where I worked for a year as a medical assistant, and then headed back home to Salt Lake City for medical school. I knew I was destined for family medicine after considering careers in internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics; my passion for family medicine stems from its dedication to the entirety of existence. Infinitely fascinated by the human experience, I seek to understand life at the intersections of art and science.
Outside of medicine I find joy in hiking, reading, face masks, good playlists, snacking, and window shopping. I’m overjoyed to be continuing my education and my past times in the greater Seattle area with the Valley Medical Center team.
