Nathan Lawrence, MD
Nathan Lawrence (he/him), MD, is a Board-certified family medicine physician. He enjoys addressing a wide range of patient needs, including preventive care, chronic disease management and urgent conditions. Other professional interests include expanding the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the primary care setting, rural emergency medicine, obstetrics, narrative medicine, medical education, and social determinants of health.
Dr. Lawrence obtained his medical degree from University of California San Francisco and completed residency in Family Medicine with Obstetrics at Valley Medical Center. When he is not working as core faculty at our program, Dr. Lawrence may be found in the Emergency Department of a critical access hospital in Lewis County.
His interests outside of medicine include outdoor activities like cycling, trail running, climbing and surfing. He also enjoys cooking, baking sourdough bread and spending time with his dog, Franklin. He speaks Spanish fluently and can say “hello, how are you?” in Portuguese.
