Jordan Collier, DO
For five generations, my family has called the greater Renton area “home”, so it’s with much excitement that I return to my roots to care for patients and continue my medical training. Ironically, I was actually born at Valley Medical Center, one year before the residency at Valley was established. My entire childhood was then spent in the area, before I moved up to Seattle for my undergraduate degree in Spanish at the University of Washington. Two years later, my dream of becoming a physician became a reality when I was accepted at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, a new and innovative osteopathic medical school in Yakima, WA.
As a family physician, my ultimate goal is to specialize in my patients: being a competent and caring advocate while partnering alongside them to accomplish their healthcare goals. In addition to providing excellent primary care for patients of all ages, my medical interests include sports medicine, osteopathic manipulation, palliative care, global health and HIV medicine.
Outside of medicine, I love to adventure around the Pacific Northwest (and anywhere in the world for that matter) with my beautiful wife and energetic children. I try to stay active by playing basketball, golfing and water-skiing when the weather cooperates, and going on walks with my family. I also spend my winters cheering on my youngest sister and the rest of the UW Women’s Basketball team. Go Dawgs!
Post graduation from residency, I will have my family medicine practice in the Issaquah area.
