Jennifer Pense, DO
Born and raised in Puyallup, WA, I was excited to return home to serve the community I love. I have always wanted to understand the health of the whole person, which prompted my undergraduate degree in Nutrition at Washington State University (Go Cougs!). From there, my passion for medicine led me to Western University of Health Sciences in California for Medical School. Family Medicine has always been my primary focus as it encourages continuity with the patient and the potential to encourage a difference in their life choices. I particularly enjoy women’s health care, obstetrics, and pediatrics.
Because of my strong interest in obstetrics as part of my practice, I completed an obstetrics fellowship in Seattle to further my training in this area. I now practice full-spectrum family medicine in the South Puget Sound area.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband, scrapbooking, Zumba, and enjoying all of the outdoor activities the NW has to offer.
