Jaime Payne, MD, MPH
I was born in Mt. Vernon, WA. Grew up all over the country as a Navy brat. Finally ended up touching down in Gig Harbor, WA where I’ve spent the majority of my life. Ultimately decided that if I was going to swim in college it was going to have to be a sunny place – so I did my undergrad studies at the University of San Diego. I couldn’t get enough of the sun, so I obtained a duel M.D./M.P.H degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies.
My practice after residency at Valley Family Medicine includes emphasis on women’s/children’s health, keeping up with musculoskeletal medicine and just trying to be as well rounded of a family physician as possible. Outside of my work in the Tacoma area of Washington, I love to swim, snowboard, CC ski, wakeboard, play tennis, travel, read, hanging out with my family.
