Daniel Bernet, DO
Pronouns: He/him
Hometown: Redding, CA
Medical School: Rocky Vista University
I grew up in Redding, a mid-sized town in Northern California. I attended undergrad at University of California, Santa Cruz where I first became interested in medicine after shadowing a rural family practice physician. Before starting medical school in Colorado I took three years off to work as well as travel/teach in Central and South America.
While in medical school and during my R1 year I had the opportunity to work in a number of areas that have become my main interests within primary care. I am excited to find ways to incorperate ultrasound into outpatient clinical practice and work with patients undergoing MAT treatment for opiate use disorder. I plan to work in a Community Healthcare Center after graduating.
Outside of medicine I enjoy climbing, skiing, backpacking, biking and most other things involving the outdoors. I look forward to exploring the mountains in the Pacific Northwest and all they have to offer!
