Amanda Zorn, MD
Residency Class of 2020

I was born in the little town of Chatham, Ontario in Canada and grew up in the beautiful Niagara region. After high school, I moved to my dad’s home state of Michigan where I completed my undergraduate training in Biology and French at Calvin College.  After medical school I spent a year working for my uncle, who was a geriatric physician and traveled through Nigeria and South Sudan with a mobile surgical team.  I completed my medical school training at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine where I fell in love with breadth and relational nature of Family Medicine.  Through various volunteering opportunities in medical school I became passionate about preventive medicine, health care reform, and working with immigrants.

My husband Charles and I are avid hikers and enjoy rock climbing. It has long been a dream of ours to move westward!  We are both certified Wilderness First Responders and love to spend any spare time we can find exploring the outdoors.  We also tend to spend a fair amount of time terrorizing (and loving on) our cat Walter.
