Honoring Dr. Teresa Wallace

Honoring Dr. Teresa Wallace

UW Medicine | Valley Medical Center just honored our very own Associate Director of Clinic Operations, Dr. Teresa Wallace, with the UW Cares Award for Spring of 2016.  This award recognizes providers and staff who exemplify what it means to practice the UW Medicine Service Culture Guidelines – making the patients and families we serve our highest priority by placing their needs first.

This is what our institution had to say about Dr. Wallace and her contributions:

Teresa Wallace, MD, has been with Valley for 30 years.  She was a member of Valley Family Residency Program’s first class in 1986.  Dr. Wallace continues to prepare family physicians for future practice in her role at Valley Family Medicine as a faculty physician.  In fact, she created the Clinic First model, which has become the model curriculum for the University of Washington Family Medicine Network, a group of [over] 20 residency programs.  Dr. Wallace has also dedicated herself to global health by founding and supporting a clinic in Guatemala.
