Celebrations and Transitions at VFM

Today we celebrated the R3s reaching their goal of graduation from residency.  This is a bittersweet time for residency programs as we have to say goodbye to the residents who are about to embark on their own careers.  We’re very proud of each and every one of them for succeeding and for the great physicians that they are.

In addition to celebrating milestones, we also took the time to formally welcome our new interns and impart the symbolic recognition of their becoming physicians – the conferment of the white coats.  It’s fun to watch them as they receive the time-honored recognition and realize the awesome responsibility that comes with the wearing of these coats.
